		Social Work Health Leadership Foundation The Social Work Health Leadership Foundation (SWHLF) was established in 2005 by members of the Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care to support the advancement of social work leadership in health care and eventually fund research in the field. Our current goal is for the Foundation to have sufficient assets to provide scholarships for less experienced Society members to attend SSWLHC educational opportunities along with financial support of the Leadership Institute. Please help us help the profession by donating whatever amount you can afford. Please remember that the Social Work Health Leadership Foundation is an IRS 509(a)3 organization and any donation made is tax deductible. Donations will be acknowledged in a number of ways and the SWHLF Board is working hard to develop the most effective methods of acknowledgement. Below is a form which can be printed and faxed to the SWHLF office at 215-564-2175. After your donation is processed you will receive a thank you letter which can be used for tax deduction purposes. SWHLF provides support for annual meeting and Leadership Institute

The Social Work Health Leadership Foundation began to actualize its goal to provide scholarships for Society members to attend SWLHC educational opportunities with the 2007 Annual Meeting and the inaugural Leadership Institute. Two $1000 scholarships were granted to Society members who were first time attendees. These 2 winners were granted scholarships to attend the annual meeting in Philadelphia. This year, it will again be offering two $1,000 scholarships for the 45th Annual Conference in Tampa, Florida. The purpose of these scholarships is to offer Society members an opportunity to attend the SSWLHC national meeting. Eligible, applicants must be a member, or committed to become a member of SSWLHC. They will have demonstrated leadership potential in social work in health care and not previously attended an Annual Meeting of the Society.
