PLEASE NOTE: Membership Dues Dates Changes
Dear SSWLHC Member,
Over the past year we have informed members that SSWLHC made a fiscal year change in an attempt to align our budget with our Annual Conference which has been moved to a fall event rather than a spring event. Along with the fiscal year change, a decision has been made by the SSWLHC Board to also move to an annual dues cycle rather than an anniversary date cycle. This will allow for better budget planning as the Board will be better able to project revenue for the year in planning the budget. Members with an expiration date from July 31, 2010 through June 30, 2011, will pay prorated dues. Beginning July 1, 2011, all dues will be collected with an expiration of June 30, 2012. Click on the link below for the spreadsheet displaying membership expiration dates and proration rate dues owed for regular/management members, regular/non-management members, and associate members. Regular/non-management members include direct patient care, transitional, emeritus and faculty. Proration rates do not apply to students.

Membership Categories:
Full Member: Management
Social worker with full or part-time management responsibility who holds a social work degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
Full Member: Direct Patient Care, Transitional, Emeritus, Faculty and Student
Direct Patient Care: Social worker in direct patient care only, without director, manager or chief in their title, who holds a social work degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
Transitional
A full member or associate member who by resignation or termination of employment is no longer employed n a health care setting.
Emeritus
A retired full member or associate member whom before retirement met the eligibility requirements for membership.
Faculty
A dean, faculty member, or university-based field practicum supervisor at a university or college.
Student
A student currently enrolled in a CSWE program at a university or college. ($55)
Associate Member
An individual or business who does not hold a social work degree but has substantial responsibility or interest in the leadership of social work functions in a health care setting.
Group/Team Discount
A discounted member of $80 will apply to multiple members from the same institutional campus. You must have 5 or more members to receive the discount. The first member must pay the Full Member fee of $140.
