SSWLHC - Southwestern Pennsylvania Chapter
The Southwestern PA Chapter of the Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care originated in 1965 and has grown to encompass a 15 county region. Members include those who work in a variety of health care settings inclusive of the following: social work practice in acute care, behavioral health, rehabilitation, long term care, home care & hospice, case management, as well as, schools of social work. The purpose of the organization is to promote the practice of Social Work in health care setting across the continuum and advance the development of effective social work programs through education and advocacy and professional networks.
